[00:00:08] Speaker A: Hello and welcome to 404. Site not found for November 10, 2024. I am joined by Alyssa. And we're also joined by Mary Mozzarella. [00:00:19] Speaker B: Although if Mary Mozzarella wants to give out her real name, she is welcome to. [00:00:23] Speaker A: I thought it was her real name. [00:00:25] Speaker C: According to you, it's my real name. [00:00:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:00:28] Speaker B: We're actually not at 404 today. [00:00:31] Speaker A: No, we are at a whole different house. We walked over to Mary Mozzarella's cuz the weather was really good and we thought we would go get a walk in. [00:00:40] Speaker B: Yeah, it's kind of been crazy the last week. Would you guys say? [00:00:43] Speaker A: Yeah, well, I mean, if you think about the weather we had and you think about our last episode, I think it was very indicative of what we had to deal with. [00:00:51] Speaker B: There was more where that came from. [00:00:52] Speaker C: I mean, what, three times we all had to get in the closets? [00:00:56] Speaker A: We did twice. Did you do a third? [00:00:58] Speaker C: I did. [00:00:59] Speaker A: When did you do your third one? [00:01:00] Speaker C: That Saturday. [00:01:02] Speaker B: Oh, Saturday night. [00:01:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:01:04] Speaker A: Oh, we were. We slept through it. [00:01:07] Speaker C: Well, I mean, I honestly did not go into the closet because I was asleep too. So I mean, but that could have been one that. [00:01:15] Speaker A: That probably could have. Yeah. I mean that. That was some pretty bad. [00:01:20] Speaker B: I remember waking up the next morning and hearing like some of the alerts from the smart device and even on our phones, but it didn't. The only emergency alert we got for that was the flash flood. [00:01:32] Speaker A: Yeah, there was a flash flood and that was it. But yeah, it was. It was crazy because I remember like, you can ask your smart speaker, like read notifications of like 10 new notifications and it was like all these warnings and watches and floods and stuff. And I was like, wow, what were we doing? We were like asleep and missed everything. [00:01:50] Speaker B: So. Yes. This is for those who listen to the last one. Our friend Mary Mozzarella here, who called us when we were safe from the. I guess would have been second round technically. [00:02:03] Speaker A: So we brought her on the podcast so you all can meet her. [00:02:07] Speaker C: And my real name is Katherine Bagarella. Not Mary Mozzarella. [00:02:11] Speaker A: Not Mary Mozzarella. [00:02:12] Speaker C: But it's okay. I love them enough for them to call me Mary Mozzarella. [00:02:17] Speaker A: That's right. [00:02:18] Speaker B: It happened just because, you know, how would you. How would you explain how this nickname came to be? [00:02:27] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:02:30] Speaker B: It had to do with some confidentiality stuff at an organization so we couldn't. [00:02:36] Speaker A: Refer to her by her real name. And so yeah, we were just like, we give people nicknames and so like Garfield. Garfield. Yeah. [00:02:47] Speaker B: Yeah. That was an oldie but a goodie. Yeah. Because when you work for a place that, you know, deals with teaching or medical records, you don't want to give out people's personal identifiable information. HIPAA is real. [00:03:04] Speaker A: HIPAA is. I want a shirt that says that. But now. I mean, now it's not important. [00:03:08] Speaker C: Make sure it doesn't say hippo is real. [00:03:14] Speaker A: Yeah. The cool thing is, like, now we don't have to worry about those things because that's all back there. And we're here now, and we need to be friends. That's right. Stop it. Don't do that. [00:03:24] Speaker B: You stop it. [00:03:25] Speaker A: You stop it first. I hate when you say what I'm gonna say before I say it, and then you say it and I say it. [00:03:31] Speaker C: That's how you know you are meant to be. When you can finish each other's sentences and before the other one even gets it out of their mouth, you know. [00:03:41] Speaker A: You are meant to be together. We did that. So we didn't even get to talk about the Big Easy last week because of the. Yeah. So we went to a place in here in Yukon called the Big Easy, and it's a Cajun place. I don't know, Katherine, if you've ever checked it out. [00:03:57] Speaker C: So to be honest, after I saw someone's Facebook post that they went there, then I absolutely had Randall, my Seeing Eye spouse, look it up. [00:04:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:09] Speaker C: And that is a definite date night excursion that we are planning. [00:04:14] Speaker A: Highly recommend. [00:04:15] Speaker B: Great place. [00:04:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:16] Speaker B: The music is something to behold. [00:04:19] Speaker A: We. We loved it. And the food was really good. I thought. [00:04:23] Speaker B: Service. [00:04:23] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, I. I haven't really had real, honest to goodness Cajun food, but I thought it was delicious. [00:04:28] Speaker C: Yeah, Well, I have. Oh, I have been to New Orleans during Mardi Gras. [00:04:34] Speaker A: Oh. [00:04:35] Speaker B: Yeah. The owner's stepdad is local to the area, so she took a lot of his recipes. [00:04:42] Speaker A: Yep. [00:04:43] Speaker B: And brought them here. And we think the waiter was a little surprised when we were asking, you know, where. Where did the ideas for this food come from? [00:04:50] Speaker A: Because it was really good. Like, the jambalaya was delicious. It had, like, corn and all sorts of goodies in it and stuff. And I loved it. [00:04:58] Speaker B: Called her hush puppies. [00:04:59] Speaker A: Shut up, dogs. We did it again. [00:05:04] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:05] Speaker A: So we did this, like, three times in the Uber on the way home, and our driver was just like, yeah, you. You guys are made for each other. [00:05:11] Speaker C: Well, at least he didn't call you brother and sister. [00:05:14] Speaker A: No, that. That happens. [00:05:16] Speaker C: I know that happens quite often with the two of you. [00:05:19] Speaker A: More More often than it needs to. [00:05:22] Speaker B: Yes. I think that's a good. [00:05:23] Speaker A: Especially here. I think we had it once in Colorado, but, like, all the time down here in Oklahoma. It's been like, two or three times. [00:05:30] Speaker C: Well, you know, I hate to say it like this, but I think they see two blind people together and just automatically assume you're related. [00:05:36] Speaker B: That's the same thing I said is that they. It just doesn't really cross their mind that it would be a romantic relationship. It's more of like a you take care of each other or something, or. [00:05:52] Speaker A: You two live with a caretaker or something. [00:05:54] Speaker C: Right. [00:05:54] Speaker B: I don't, like, let loose for the weekend. [00:05:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:05:57] Speaker C: Like, oh, my gosh. Blind people can actually function without a sighted person. [00:06:03] Speaker A: They escaped. They escaped from the home. Yeah. They stopped. Stop it. You did it again. [00:06:11] Speaker B: You did it again. [00:06:12] Speaker C: No, that's just like my neighbor that you told me about. [00:06:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:17] Speaker C: Dad was like, oh, are you looking for the other blind lady? [00:06:22] Speaker B: Yes. When he was on. [00:06:23] Speaker A: We got to see him again. So he'd be like, oh, they're, like, multiplying now. [00:06:27] Speaker C: We're gonna go, all three of us, make it a trio. [00:06:30] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:06:31] Speaker B: Taking over the neighborhood and be like, here we come. [00:06:34] Speaker C: We have invaded your neighborhood. [00:06:36] Speaker A: We're rocking the suburbs. [00:06:37] Speaker B: Here we come to save the day. Something like that. [00:06:40] Speaker C: My people are on the way. [00:06:43] Speaker A: Blindy Mouse. [00:06:44] Speaker C: Blindy Mouse. [00:06:46] Speaker A: So we're gonna. Yeah, it's gonna be a new character who's like, Mighty Mouse, but he, like, runs into everything. Here I come to save th. Yeah. [00:06:55] Speaker C: Boom. [00:06:55] Speaker A: Hits his head on everything. Like, here. [00:06:58] Speaker B: I break your walls. [00:07:00] Speaker C: So I'm going to show my age a little bit because I do have a couple of years on you guys. And In Living Color. [00:07:07] Speaker A: Yes. [00:07:07] Speaker C: Handyman Damon Wayne. [00:07:10] Speaker A: Yes. [00:07:11] Speaker C: Never underestimate the power of the handicap. [00:07:16] Speaker A: I love In Living Color. It's such a good show. [00:07:19] Speaker B: Yeah. Well, this has been fun. [00:07:20] Speaker A: Jim Carrey got his start there. No, no, we don't want to keep it too long, but, you know, we wanted to check in and let you guys know that we are still flying after the tornado, and we have made. [00:07:31] Speaker B: It through another week. [00:07:32] Speaker A: We didn't even get to talk about Big Easy, and so I wanted to make sure we talked about it. [00:07:35] Speaker B: Yeah, that's important. [00:07:38] Speaker A: That was our Big. [00:07:39] Speaker B: And what was it the dessert you had there? [00:07:42] Speaker A: I think I had the. [00:07:43] Speaker B: It was a bread pudding, right? [00:07:44] Speaker A: It was. The caramel was like, a walnut bread pudding. [00:07:47] Speaker B: That's right. [00:07:47] Speaker A: It was really good. [00:07:49] Speaker B: And yes, they have authentic Cajun music there's. A song that played there that we've had in our head for, like, the. [00:07:54] Speaker A: Last My Tutu by Rockin Sydney. Go, go look it up. It's. It's catchy. We've had other people tell us that. [00:08:04] Speaker C: They'Re My tutu song that I'm thinking of. [00:08:06] Speaker B: Don't mess with my tutu. [00:08:10] Speaker C: That is an old, old song. Yes. [00:08:13] Speaker B: Yeah, that's the one. [00:08:17] Speaker A: And we remember us trying. We're like, what is a tutu? [00:08:21] Speaker B: We figured it out. [00:08:22] Speaker A: Yeah, we figured it out. [00:08:23] Speaker C: I hope you did. [00:08:24] Speaker A: Yeah, we figured out what a tutu was. [00:08:26] Speaker C: It's the same thing as a gel couch. [00:08:29] Speaker A: Oh, boy. All right, so on that note, because I don't even know what that is, but it sounds mildly inappropriate. So on that note, we want to thank you guys for tuning in to another great episode of 404 Sight Not Found. Don't forget we have a great podcast feed up, so you can catch all the previous episodes. We'd love to hear from you on Mastodon. We're over at elworks Games. [00:08:51] Speaker B: We'll see you when we see you. [00:08:52] Speaker A: Yeah, we will see you when we see you.
